Make Your Own Pancakes, Right At Your Table.

If you are in to food designing and a lover of pancakes, here is a entertaining restaurant that has built in griddles at your table to test your artistic skills in making your own hotcakes. πŸ˜‰

Slappy Cakes is one of the famous breakfast spots in Portland, Oregon, USAΒ  and soon after opened branches in other countries such as Tokyo, Philippines and Singapore.

I was able to try this restaurant at Resorts World Sentosa, Singapore before heading to Universal Studios and this alone made my day, the ingredients to make the pancakes were all fresh and yummy and I really had fun trying to be as creative as possible in my pancake designs. LOL!

The first step in making your own pancake is to order your batter (foundation of your cake) from the menu and currently they only have five flavors to choose from.

  • Peanut Butter
  • Vegan
  • Whole Grain
  • Butter Milk
  • Chocolate

Second step is to add “fixins” to your pancake in order for it to be an original recipe made by you. The best thing about the Slappy menu is that they serve not only sweet pancakes, but they also have savory ones to add on your cakes such as chorizo, salted duck egg, white cheese, bacon, assorted mushrooms, sausages and many more.

A room for making a weird pancake is achievable! Haha! 😜

Toppings:Yogurt, Maple Syrup, Strawberries & Nuts

The last step is to pick your sauce and they have a wide selection on what sweet and savory syrup you can spill on that out of this world pancake of yours!

I also would like to praise the restaurant’s ambiance. I can’t really explain why I loved the settings but It gives this comfy and good feeling when you dine. So two thumbs up! πŸ‘πŸ‘

I definitely recommend you to bring your family and friends here! A fun way to bond and catching up.Β πŸ˜ƒ For those who are in the Philippines,Β  the Slappy cakes is located in Eastwood Mall, Quezon City, Manila.
