One of the things you should consider doing when you visit Japan is to check out animal cafes and what I chose out of many choices was the Owl Cafe.
I don’t necessary like animals but I don’t dislike them either but what caught my attention was that I’ve never touched an owl before and I find them really beautiful, so to see one up close and personal would be such a delight.๐
I also can’t exactly remember how much I paid for the entrance fee but included in the package are snacks(cookies/chocolates) and 1 drink, bird food to feed the owls and a picture of an owl as a souvenir. Plus you can only stay for like an hour or two in the cafe.
There are many animal cafe all over japan but this one is located at Tokyo, Shinjuku, Hyakunincho (Shin Okubo).
Baby owls (image above) are really aggressive compared to the bigger & mature ones. It was difficult for me to feed them because they go crazy when they see you holding its meal.
Below the Owl cafe is another cafe which is a replica of the hit Korean Tv Drama “Coffee Prince”, where a girl pretended to be a boy so that she can work in a all boy staff cafe.
I think this is a very cute place and one where you should check out before or after your Owl cafe experience since you are already in the area.
This place has a sweet and nice atmosphere, good music, charming staff ( VERY GOOD LOOKING MALE STAFF) , cute food art designs and the coffee ain’t that bad either.
